Since its founding in 2003, SWJ TECHNOLOGY has established itself as an agile and customer-focused engineering company. Originally founded in Germany by Mr. Siebrecht, Mr. Walz, and Mr. Jurditsch, the company has expanded significantly over the past 15 years, maintaining a strong presence in various German cities while branching out to China, Portugal, and the United States.
As part of its 15-year anniversary celebration, SWJ TECHNOLOGY is reflecting on its journey from a small subsidiary in the U.S. to a global leader in engineering solutions. The company entered the U.S. market in 2009 as a small subsidiary of Breilmann AG in Greenville, South Carolina. A pivotal moment came in 2014 when SWJ merged with Breilmann, allowing for rapid expansion across North America. Following SWJ’s full acquisition of Breilmann, the U.S. division was rebranded as SWJ TECHNOLOGY, LLC. Today, the company operates offices in Greenville, SC; Chattanooga, TN; and Farmington Hills, MI, with its new Technology Center and headquarters based in Tuscaloosa, AL.
SWJ TECHNOLOGY provides world-class engineering, planning, and project management services, continually evolving with innovative cloud-based engineering solutions. In 2017, the company expanded its capabilities by acquiring North Georgia Equipment Solutions (NGE), a key player in handheld tools, assist devices, and CNC-machined parts for the manufacturing industry. More recently, SWJ TECHNOLOGY has developed Hazard Containment Systems and other patented innovations to enhance industrial safety and efficiency.
Furthering its mission to drive growth and innovation, SWJ TECHNOLOGY formed a subsidiary, ProjectONE US, LLC (P1), to strengthen its talent and outsourcing services. With approximately one-third of its workforce now based in the U.S., the company continues to make strides in engineering excellence and workforce development.
